MY STORY
I am a Johnathan Staci Kim, a Korean-American actor.
I was born in Seoul, South Korea and brought up in New York City.
I began acting at Herbert Berghof Studios, continued at Circle in the Square Theatre School, and was mentored by the late Alan Langdon.
After years in theatre, I was cast in a scene with Wesley Snipes and John Leguizamo in To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar, which led to more film work. The scene was unfortunately deleted from the final cut.
In 1994 I had a small role in Larry Clark’s iconic film KIDS opposite Justin Pierce.
In 1996 I co-starred opposite Anthony Quinn in Seven Servants, and in 1998 co-starred with Austin Pendleton, Jennifer Esposito, and David Eigenberg in Charlie Hoboken.
In 2000 I co-starred with Justin Pierce, Bokeem Woodbine, and Roger Rees in Blackmale.
